PW + CW modes
Two RF delivery patterns and eight selectable modes in one platform.

Dual-wave radiofrequency microneedling
Sylfirm X combines Pulsed Wave and Continuous Wave RF microneedling in one platform, giving qualified providers a broad range of adjustable treatment settings.
See the difference
Sylfirm X Ultimate Edition pairs eight PW/CW treatment modes with bipolar, non-insulated electrodes and precise depth control—from 0.3 mm to 4.0 mm.

Two RF delivery patterns and eight selectable modes in one platform.
Depth adjusts in 0.1 mm increments for superficial and deeper treatment strategies.
Controlled energy delivery through a non-insulated microneedle electrode system.
Standard and XE configurations support larger and more detailed treatment areas.
The technology
Trained providers can select between Pulsed Wave and Continuous Wave energy patterns based on treatment area, depth and clinical objective.
Manufacturer-described PW modes deliver shorter, selective energy pulses in the basement membrane and upper dermis.
Manufacturer-described CW modes create independent coagulation around each electrode through the dermal layers.

New 300-micron depth
The 0.3 mm setting is designed to reach the epidermis, basement membrane and papillary dermis, while the platform’s full 0.3–4.0 mm range supports treatment planning across multiple depths.
The NA Effect
With non-insulated electrodes, the exposed needle remains conductive along the inserted portion. BENEV describes independent electrothermal coagulation around each bipolar electrode.

Sylfirm X
Energy is distributed around each electrode along the inserted depth, supporting a broader vertical treatment field.

Comparison
An insulated shaft restricts RF delivery along the coated portion, concentrating energy near the exposed needle tip.

Consumable tips
Both 25-pin formats are robotically produced for consistent needle height and depth, with configurations designed for different treatment zones.

Frequently asked questions
These answers reflect information provided by BENEV. A qualified provider should determine the appropriate protocol for each patient.
BENEV reports that most patients describe the treatment as comfortable, with a slight tingling sensation and light pressure. Sensation can vary by treatment depth and area.
BENEV notes that many physicians recommend three to six treatments spaced four to six weeks apart. The appropriate plan depends on the patient, treatment area and provider.
BENEV states that treatment generally takes approximately 20 to 45 minutes, depending on the treatment area.
Sylfirm X combines Pulsed Wave and Continuous Wave radiofrequency microneedling. Its eight modes let trained providers select different energy patterns by treatment area and clinical objective.
Sylfirm X uses bipolar non-insulated electrodes. BENEV describes this design as distributing energy around each electrode along the inserted portion, rather than restricting delivery to the needle tip.
FDA-cleared use: Sylfirm X Ultimate Edition™ is intended for dermatologic and general surgical procedures for electrocoagulation and hemostasis (K213612). Review current manufacturer labeling, contraindications and professional training before use.
